  • Program content and times are subject to change.
  • Due to limited capacity, assistance may not be available when it's crowded.
  • If you have white tabi socks, please bring them; they are also available for loan.
  • The Noh mask fitting experience is available anytime during operating hours. Please register at the reception.
  • During each session of the music experience, you can try one or two types of instruments.

Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater opened in 1972 as the nation's first independent public Noh theater as a base for the preservation, transmission, and promotion of Noh culture. The Noh stage was moved from the main stage of Kanazawa Noh Theatre, which was built in 1932.
