Yarai Noh Theater
60 Yarai-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Located in a quiet residential area of Kagurazaka, a town where traditional performing arts are still alive, the entrance is reached through a tasteful gate and grove of trees, and the building is of the then modern wooden mortar construction. The Noh stage is a registered tangible cultural property made of hinoki cypress, a wood specially donated from the Imperial Forest in Kiso.
